A friend and I just returned from a south eastern girls road trip. We had a very good time. We stayed in Savannah for 2 days.  2 reasons we went to Savannah were to eat at Paula Deans and Uncle Bubba's.  Well, we ate at Bubba's, NOT impressed. So we read about The Crabshack on Tybee Island and decided to give it a try. We just kind of laughed when we saw it. I thought ok, the food must be good.  Man was I RIGHT !!!  It was fabulous !!!  Wonderful customer service and I have been in the customer service business one way or another for 30+ years. The first trip I had the Shrimp Salad sandwich and the Crab stew. OMG!!  The second day we got the platter for 2.  WOW!  More than enough seafood.  All very well prepared and DELICIOUS!  My friend had nevery had Crawfish and was scared to try them, but she did.  Then  she couldn't stop eating them. lol  Needless to say we never went to the other restaurant.  No regrets with that decision! I will certainly tell everyone that I know, that if they are heading to Savannah, to definately eat at the Crabshack.  My only problem was that no one would give me the recipes for the Shrimp Salad Sandwich or the Crab Stew.  That broke my heart.

The 1st experience at the Crab Shack was like whip topping on the end of a fantasy. My husband and I decided to celebrate out 7th anniversary in Savannah and the Crab Shack put the icing on the cake with its to die seafood creations. we enjoy so much that we have decided to go back for our 13th Annivesary (March 15, 2004). See at the other end of the table.

The Barbies can't get enough of the Crab Shack..We suggest you go there before you go anywhere! Worth the flight (or drive)  to Savannah just to go to the shack! The water front view,  the Key Lime Margaritas and the crab legs, what more can you ask for? Tell Jack the Barbies sent you!

My girlfriend and I had the opportunity of eating at your restaurant (actually, ""restaurant"" seems a bit inadequate to describe the ""experience"" we had at your place) yesterday.  It was our anniversary and we decided to take a trip to Savannah that we'd been planning and postponing for a long time.  We're particularly fond of lighthouses, so of course we visited Tybee Island - where we hope to return soon to spend a long weekend or a week.

We saw your ad in one of the brochures we collected along our ""walking tour"" - our feet have dis-owned us, but we had fun - and we decided that a place where the ""elite dine in bare feet"" just might be our type of place.  (We live in Jacksonville and have adopted the beach as our second home.) Throw in 78 alligators, and we had to see this place.

Brent (a transplanted Terripian) was our server and Carol was our distinguished bartender.  Without a doubt, our experience wouldn't have been nearly as ""special"" had it not been for them.  The food was very good and the Finnegan's Flamingo was a hoot!  Needless to say, we'll return.
Thanks again for your part in making our day very special.

My wife has been coming to Tybee Island for several years with the ""girls"".She had pity on me this year and brought me along on her last time there. I had heard about The Crab Shack for years and couldn't wait to go there too. I DID have a T-Shirt from last year , but now I was ready to try the food. WOW! It was everything I thought it would be. Fresh seafood. Simply prepared. Delicious. And the atmosphere was great as well. I can't wait to come back there.

Excellent quality of food; good and friendly service; quantity of food is more than any mortal can possibly eat. Go with the main combo deal. Have 4 people, order for 3, etc. Don't dress up, you'll be out of sync - their motto is, "Where the elite meet to eat in their bare feet." If you know the normal, formal summer attire on Tybee (i.e., tee shirt, shorts and flip-flops), then you get the idea of the atmosphere. Though there is some covered seating, the action is in the totally open area, so go in good weather. Want to impress some stuffed shirt - this ain't the place. Want to kick back, relax, have a marvelous low country meal - it can't be beaten

My family and I went to the Crab Shack and I thought it would be boring but I was totaly wrong. The gator lagoon and the waitress made it really fun. I would go back everyday if I could

We stumpled onto the Crab Shack our first visit to Savannah four years ago.  We had such a great time that it is a MUST STOP on our annual visit.  The food is great, the atmosphere is fun.  We recommend it to everyone.

Our family has been visiting The Crab Shack for many years and the food has always been great!  We are planning a trip to Florida the end of December with other friends and I promised my husband we would eat at The Crab Shack.  I think it's the only reason he agreed to go.  He is your #1 Crab Shack fan.  He says the Low Country Boil is the best there is.  Can't wait to dine with you again!

This is a place everybody needs to experience.  It is unique and like no other!  I went here for my birthday and it was a blast with servers with personalities.  Food is consistently good and you always know what to expect.
